Vonage is Close to 100% E911 Coverage

A huge VoIP service provider Vonage is now servicing 90% of its subscribers’ lines with E911 therefore being very close to reaching the 100% coverage in the nearest future. This service automatically associates the caller’s telephone number with their physical address. This makes it possible for the 911 emergency service operators to find out where the caller is to send the emergency squad. Earlier it was impossible coming up with various concerns when comparing VoIP and traditional lines.

Two years ago, Siemens Business Services, SAP and Intel Corporation teamed up to develop a joint RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) package for first-time users. Now, Siemens Communications and Intel are reuniting to form a brand-new technology relationship.
